Bir, (North India)
A Journey Into Presence
Meet India & yourself with fresh eyes
- 7 days · Guided by Maaike
Let’s call it a treat for yourself — or a small experiment.
A week in Bir (North India) shaped by presence, simplicity, and a real experience.
What it is
You travel to india and step into a different rhythm. A radical move. Less trying to get somewhere. More noticing what’s already there.
This experience lives within the Fly In offering — opening a space and time where you can come, stay, and reconnect in a personal and meaningful way.
Is this for you?
This might fit if you feel like shaking things up — just a little.
- You feel ready to step out of your usual rhythm for a while
- India — the Himalayas — somehow pulls your attention
- You’re open to letting the week take shape as it goes
- You’re curious what shows up when you slow down for real
- You want to feel more alive, more present, more in it
- You’re ready to step out of “planning life” and into living it
A glimpse of the rhythm
There is a rhythm to the days — just not a fixed one.
Presence & practice
We sit. Sometimes guided, sometimes in silence. Simple reflections come in — grounded in Eastern wisdom — and you get time to let them land, not rush past them.
Nature & simple living
We spend time outside. Walking, exploring, sitting in the landscape. Sunsets, open views, stillness. Meals are simple, nourishing — sometimes we cook together, sometimes we keep it easy.
Visits & inspiration
We step into the surroundings — nature, local places, or spaces with a certain depth. Sometimes we meet people who carry something worth listening to. If the moment is right.
Connection & conversation
There is space to talk — one-on-one and, when it fits, together with others. Nothing is scheduled. Some conversations happen naturally. Others don’t. Both are fine. There’s also room for creativity, expression — or doing nothing at all.
Shared space & private time
Some moments are shared. Others are just yours. You don’t have to join everything, and you won’t miss anything by choosing differently. Before you arrive, we connect to sense what you need.

What tends to shift
You don’t come here to “get something”. Still, things tend to move.
- energy comes back, often quite naturally
- things feel lighter — not because life changed, but how you meet it does
- you relate differently to your thoughts and reactions
- you take simple practices home without effort
- your perspective opens, sometimes in unexpected ways
- and somewhere along the way, something softens

Frequently Ask Question
That’s completely understandable. There is a gentle structure holding the week, even within the openness. You might also discover that the lack of fixed structure offers something new — a chance to soften the need to hold everything together, and to explore a new way of moving through your days.
There is a shared rhythm, but nothing rigid. We shape the days in a way that feels supportive and natural.
Yes. I’m present throughout the week, and we stay in regular contact — both in shared moments and in individual time.
That’s very welcome. When you make the heartfelt choice to slow down, it’s quite natural for the body to show signs of tiredness that may have been held back before. We take it day by day, allowing your system to settle at its own pace.
That’s always possible. The balance between shared time and space for yourself can be adjusted whenever needed.
We take care of things with focus and precision. There are good local facilities, and we respond together in a way that feels safe and supportive to you.
Very personal. The week is shaped around you — your rhythm, your questions, and what supports you most.
At times, you might come closer to what is present in your life. We move gently and stay grounded, allowing things to unfold at a pace that feels right for you. I’m trained as a psychologist and mindfulness teacher, and aim to hold the space with care. If you’re unsure, you can always reach out to sense whether this feels right for you.
